Whether you are a seasoned or first-time racegoer, you're guaranteed a great day out and a warm welcome at Exeter Racecourse. There's something for everyone - corporate-friendly weekday meetings, holiday fixtures with superb entertainment to suit all the family and an evening meeting in May with a live band playing after racing.

Here's just a few examples of what we offer throughout the season:

Exeter Day (November 9th 2010)

A brand new theme for racing as we celebrate the historic cathedral city of Exeter. Expect top racing action throughout the afternoon as well as plenty of locally-themed activities and attractions to enjoy - full details about this exciting day to be posted here ASAP!

tote Haldon Gold Cup Day (November 2nd 2010)

Exeter's flagship raceday of the season. The Haldon Gold Cup, a prestigious Grade 2 contest run over 2m 1.5f has an impressive role of honour, past winners including the much-loved triple Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Best Mate, as well as National Hunt stars Edredon Bleu, Flagship Uberalles, Viking Flagship, Travado and Waterloo Boy.

Prize Winner's Day (November 19th 2010)

A great day's racing, with the chance to win all sorts of fantastic prizes! Simply fill in your details in your racecard and post back to us on the day, and you can be in with the chance of going home with anything from a stay at a top hotel to tickets for top local sporting attractions. All details on 2010 prizes will be posted in due course.

Children's Day (April 2011 - exact date TBC)

Children will be given a "behind-the-scenes" tour of the racecourse and a talk by a couple of top jockeys, who will explain just what it is like race-riding for a living. All children are welcome to have a go on a very realistic racehorse simulator with expert tuition on hand throughout the afternoon. Children of all ages are invited to compete in a race down the last furlong of the course, with great prizes on offer. What's more there's a free goody bag for every child who has been booked in advance!

Ladies Evening (May 2011 - exact date TBC)

Our popular Ladies Evening is an occasion to dress to impress, with various "best dressed" competitions offering fabulous prizes. It's a brilliant night out for all to enjoy - 6 live races followed by a fantastic live band playing after racing, when the bars stay open and all are invited to dance the night away!
